In the second tower we offer the Turtle Room on the ground floor with a king-size bed and kitchenette, and the Beach Room on the second floor with a king-size bed.

Our beachfront house contains the Breeze Room, with a queen size bed. Above the house is our Palapa Terrace, accessible to all guests, with delightful hammocks and guaranteed ocean-breezes.

Your welcoming hosts live on the premises in the other part of the Beachfront house.

The internet service at Beachfront Paradise Boutique Hotel is provided by the STARLINK satellite operated by SpaceX. The internet speed test at our facility shows over 250 Mbps in download and 30 Mbps in upload mode. We can handle here live streaming, watching HD or 4K videos, downloading HD movies, and surfing YouTube without having the buffering issue.

Every morning, you will find a delicious full breakfast on the pool deck. Cold drinks are always waiting in on-site bar. We have outside kitchen facilities for those who want to cook their own meals. And for a separate fee, we can also cook a custom made lunch and dinner with a Polish flair. Host Basia is also the owner of Puerto Escondido’s famous Casa de Pierogi. A variety of family-owned palapa restaurants are just a three minute walk away, selling freshly caught seafood prepared just for you. The oysters are the best in Mexico.

Our beach is a diverse marvel. Directly in front of us are vast open stretches, and within a five minute walk there are calm lagoons created by rock formations and favored by families with small children. In the other direction, lucky surfers delight in the waves. Birdlife abounds and the occasional whale can be seen offshore.

Neighborhood Description

About Agua Blanca:

Agua Blanca is a small relatively un-discovered beach town on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, Mexico. The area is an ecotourism and seafood destination. The beach is mostly flat, with fine white sand. The water is warm all year round, and the sunset is magnificent from our property. Local fishermen catch yellowtail, amberjack tuna, oysters, shrimp and lobster. Locals also protect olive ridley and leatherback sea turtle eggs. There are no rental properties, and very little spring break traffic.

From a recent guest:
“As the sun set we all went for a final splash in the ocean while enjoying the amazing array of colours in the sky. I have been here with my family and it was one of the best snorkeling beached I have been to so far and a bit farther down the beach is an ideal spot for boogie boarding!”

Getting around

20 miles or 33 km from Puerto Escondido, and the same time it takes to reach Mazunte and Zipolite. We are just over an hour from Huatulco International Airport.

We would recommend a car rental if you want to be busy with tours. You can get lots of tours done with reasonable drives.

Beachfront Paradise Boutique Hotel has lots of places to hang out, take sun, cool off in the pool. The rooms are usually cool at night for comfortable sleeping. Agua Blanca beach is really beautiful and is right there when you open the gate to the Resort. The beach is never crowded even on spring break or holidays. Very few vendors and amazing fresh seafood everywhere.

Cool off in the pool, chill out under the palapa, snooze in a hammock or kick back on the rooftop. This is the place to get away from it all.

Local Attractions

We at Beachfront Paradise Boutique Hotel offer many trip options for wide variety of activities and these are not for surfers only. From quiet Agua Blanca beaches, with calm waters for swimming we invite you to a row of palapa restaurants serving freshly caught seafood including the best oysters in the Pacific. We also offer walks along streets of Puerto Escondido including music and clubs scenes of Zicatela and La Punta. We invite you to visit small and beautiful towns like Mazunte and Zipolite and several nature parks to enjoy what nature offers us in this amazing Mexican Oaxaca land.

Among others we organize trips to the nearby Playa Escobilla Sanctuary, which is located 7 minutes by car from our hotel and 30 minutes from Puerto Escondido. This is where you can release newly born see turtles. Every season, thousands of Pacific Olive Ridley sea turtles are expected to search for a place to lay their eggs, which could total more than 20 million eggs a season. You can witness a rare and very moving phenomenon known as “arribada”. For a period of about a week around the full moons, not just hundreds, but thousands of turtles comes out from the ocean to lay eggs at Playa Escobilla. Each turtle lays about 100 eggs in the hole they dig deep in the sand. 45 days later the eggs will hatch and new born turtles will go back to the ocean. Only a small percentage of them will survive.

We will organize for you a unique beach horseback riding experience at Laguna de Manialtepec, which is located 50 minutes north from our hotel. In addition to the sea, sand and palm trees, in this part of the Oaxacan coast you can also find rivers, streams and lagoons. The activity has a total duration of five hours where you will go on top of a horse, strolling along the Maize River. On the tour you will be able to appreciate corn, coconut, peanut and papaya plantations. In a completely wild environment, surrounded by virgin nature, you will feel part of the landscape. At the end of the trail, you will reach one end of the Manialtepec Lagoon where a boat will be waiting for you to cross the Lagoon and also enjoy the biodiversity found there. Birds, mangroves and calm water will be the perfect setting to rest after the horse ride. Finally, you will arrive at Puerto Suelo, the ideal place to enjoy a cool drink and an unparalleled sunset.

We #beachfrontparadiseboutiquehotel offer to our guests unforgettable Dolphin, Whale (between November-March) and Turtle Watching ocean boat trip experience. Our friend Carlos will be your captain on the boat which fits up to 8 persons. The boat leaves Playa Angelito in Puerto Escondido (30 minutes drive from our hotel) at 7 am and lasts 4 hours. Cost 600 pesos. Captain Carlos can also take you on the deep see fishing adventure to catch sailfish, marlin, tuna, dorado and red snapper, grouper or barracuda.

We can offer you a ride to Mazunte is a small town on the Pacific coast of southern Mexico. It is located 30 minutes from our hotel. Known for their strong surf, Mazunte’s beaches include Mermejita, Rinconcito and San Agustinillo. The Mexican Turtle Center has sea turtle aquariums, and carries out research and conservation work. The Punta Cometa peninsula has sweeping views of the sunset and migrating whales. West is Ventanilla, a village set in mangroves with crocodiles and herons.

Another interesting trip we can offer you is a visit to Zipolite, a low-key beach resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca. Zipolite is best known as being Mexico’s first and only legal public nude beach and for retaining much of the hippie culture that made it notable in the 1970s. The beach is currently popular with foreign tourists, especially backpackers, who stay in one of the many rustic cabins or camping spaces that line the beach. Stretching between rocky headlands, the long beach is known for its strong surf. Restaurants and bars, many with thatched roofs, line Colonia Roca Blanca. East along the coast is Huatulco National Park, with its protected coral reefs

Another Oaxacan hidden gem, located on the Costa Chica section of Oaxaca, just west of Mazunte is La Ventanilla. It is 25 minutes from our hotel and we will take you there. The area consists of beach and lagoon and is protected by about twenty five Zapotec families who are dedicated to preserving the ecology and wildlife. It is here you can see numerous crocodiles, iguanas, birds and more. The main attraction at La Ventanilla is, of course, the crocodiles. There are around 300 crocodiles that live in the lagoon, which is actually the estuary of the Tonameca River. The lagoon is cut off from the sea by the beach for much of the year and is full of mangroves; the perfect hiding place for crocs! During the rainy season, which usually runs from the end of May to August, the lagoon meets the sea and prompts sea life such as sea turtles, dolphins and fish to enter to feed on the crustaceans. There were loads of iguanas dotted around the park. They are really friendly and will come up close to you, especially if offered food. There are a number of deers in La Ventanilla. They release a few into the wild each year to help with local conservation. The deer here are really friendly; you can feed them some luscious green leaves and give them a little pet!

Finally you have to visit Puerto Escondido, a port town and resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca and located 25 minutes north from our hotel. We can organize a city tour for you, which will include many beaches and buzzing nightlife. The town’s central Principal Beach is lined with palm trees and thatch-roofed bars. Busy Zicatela Beach is renowned for its Mexican Pipeline surf break. Neighboring La Punta Beach has smaller waves. Carrizalillo Beach is set in a cove backed by steep cliffs. If you are looking for a restaurant in Puerto Escondido you can go to our favorite Rincon de los Almendros Restaurant & Grill on Rinconada. Turtle Bay is another good restaurant we would recommend. For breakfast/lunch you might chose very friendly Alebrijes, traditional Mexican home cooking by Letty. We also like Elephant Garden which is on Zicatela and Alivo restaurant at La Punta. One of our favorite local places is a little shack called Smoked Fish Tacos El Viejo restaurant. To have coffee or chocolate we suggest Cafe N’Duva coffee place in the city center. On Bacocho visit Club de Playa Villa Sol, which combines food, drinks, swimming pool and Bacocho beach experience. We are owners of a very popular European restaurant on Rinconada in Puerto Escondido – “Casa de Pierogi”. When you are in Puerto Escondido visit us on Rinconada daily from 11-11pm except Monday. If you are looking for a beach in Puerto Escondido visit Carrizalillo beach. It is our favorite beach and one of seven in town. If you are interested in the site of a sea turtle preservation and conservation efforts visit the Bacocho beach. In Puerto Escondido you have two big supermarkets: Chedraui and Bodega Aurrera. For local flavors and the true PE atmosphere, head to one of two markets: El Mercado Benito Juárez, where dozens of comedores serve fresh fish and shrimp, soups and antojitos at ridiculously cheap prices.

In you back to our hotel and you are hungry and like seafood, the adorable restaurants in Playa Agua Blanca located minutes from our hotel, let you to enjoy an authentic Oaxacan meal featuring Ostiones (oysters) and Huachinango Diablo (red snapper). Our favorite is Los Potrillos and Olguita. You will be very pleased with the freshness of everything you would eat.
