About playa Agua Blanca
Agua Blanca is a small relatively un-discovered beach town on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, Mexico. The area is an ecotourism and seafood destination. The beach is mostly flat, with fine white sand. The water is warm all year round, and the sunset is magnificent from our property. Local fishermen catch yellowtail, amberjack tuna, oysters, shrimp and lobster. Locals also protect olive ridley and leatherback sea turtle eggs.There are no rental properties, and very little spring break traffic. The European husband and wife team are excellent hosts and have provided many extras for their guests to enjoy. Not only can you have your meals prepared but there is also a well stocked fridge of different beverages including an assortment of beer and wine. Our room had beachfront view with a steady onshore ocean breeze. The fan was sufficient to keep us cool. Although some of the rooms do have A/C ours did not require. You can walk for miles on the beach and the wonderful Sea Turtle rescue and conservation Center is just a short drive.”

If napping and reading a book in a hammock next to the ocean is your thing then this is perfection! Barbara & Slavomir’s place is an absolute gem—a beautiful, charming and relaxing place. They are kind, warm and generous hosts. A lot of Airbnbs these days are commercially run and lack a personal touch, but you won’t find that here. The breakfast is great and they helped us with our gluten and dairy free requests, which we had forgotten to mention at the time of booking. They know the region well and had lots of tips and recommendations. The beach was perfect for us as it is very quiet. We tried a number of the local restaurants on the beach—the seafood was always fresh and excellent. We look forward to visiting again.

A beautiful space full of kindness with signs of affection everywhere! Staying in this place is simply the best decision we made to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The beach is practically for you, where it invites you to take walks at dawn and enjoy the sunsets just a few steps away. We loved the facilities, all in excellent condition. The bedroom is comfortable and exceeds expectations. The simply extraordinary breakfasts and ordering the dinners are worth it, since in addition to tasting Polish food, the talk and mixing with the rest of the guests gives a special touch of cordiality to make new friends. What a find! It was by mere chance that we stumbled upon this paradise…que suerte! We were warmly welcomed by Slawomir and his family. We were drawn to Playa Agua Blanca because we were told it was good for children and I have a 16 month old. It was a perfect spot for my family, so peaceful. And Slawomir offered an early check in to accommodate our child’s nap time. The place is amazing. Clean, picturesque, funky-cool, air conditioning, an awesome international beer selection, amazing beachfront view and the sweetest company/hospitality. Barbara cooked us a delicious breakfast to top it all off before our departure back to Oaxaca city. We just loved it. Definitely would go back

Rest and Relaxation. We spent a lovely relaxing two days at this idyllic hotel set on the edge of Agua Blanca beach just outside the Puerto Escondido. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea where we could sit and watch the waves and the sunset. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly always ready to offer their services should you need them. We ate breakfast and dinner on both nights and the food was delicious and plentiful. The pierogies and Hungarian goulash are a must, followed by a gorgeous tiramisu - all home cooked by Barbara or Kinga. With the communal dining table we met other guests and had some great conversations. The sun beds on the beach in front of the hotel were lovely, protected from the hot sun but with a view down to the ocean. We were very lucky on our first morning to see hump back whales as the sun rose - such a special moment. There are a number of seafood restaurants along the beach offering fresh oysters, red snapper and prawns during the day and we took advantage of these as well - great for people watching. We have recomm ended this hotel to many friends and hope to return again.
We had a great time at this resort. While it is off the beaten path this is exactly what we wanted with beaches all to ourselves, although good local restaurants are within walking distance. Barbara and Slawomir made us feel right at home. Any minor issues were attended too extremely fast. We extremely enjoyed relaxing around the pool which was landscaped very nicely.

Tuvimos una estadía Extraordinaria !!!! Nos encanto la casa de Slawomir y Bárbara. Fueron unos anfitriones muy especiales y nos ayudaron en todo. Nos sugirieron excelentes restaurantes, y lugares para conocer. Todo en su casa es muy especial y la decoración esta muy bien cuidada. La alberca, la palapa, las hamacas, los desayunos muy ricos, y la vista hacia el mar preciosa. Definitivamente regresaremos. Gracias por todas sus atenciones. No dejen de visitar los mariscos “Los Potrillos” y playa Carrizalillo.

OMG. This is what vacation is supposed to be. It’s out of a movie. First - the location is on the beach, where the only noise is the crashing ocean and the flocks of birds that live in the coconut trees. Over six days, we could count the other beach-goers on one hand. The ocean is the perfect mix of gentle and exciting, with soft waves lulling your backstroke. A five minute walk brings you to a general store for sunscreen and icecream, and a group of family-run palapa restaurants on the beach where they serve delicious, fresh caught, and super cheap seafood. Second, the resort is a cross between a boutique hotel and an old fashioned bed and breakfast. Polish expat hosts Basia and Slawomir have thought of everything, bend over backwards to be helpful, and spoiled us with delicious meals, champagne, and warm conversation. The beds were comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, and the pierogies were out of this world. This place is magic.

This was our highly anticipated first trip to the southwest area of Mexico and it won't be our last. We have traveled to most of the tourist destinations in Mexico and have now found paradise.
The wife and I arrived in Huatulco and made our way north or technically west up the coast staying at a variety of resorts. Playa Agua Blanca was our 4th stop and by far the best overall. There was just something about the beach, the vibe, the water and the atmosphere. Ours hosts at Hidden Paradise, Slawomir and Barbara, were incredible. Hidden Paradise was the perfect mix for us as we felt away from the crowds and in our own little oasis. There are many beach restaurant options to eat and drink at. The beach and the waves are very fun to swim in.
I would highly recommend checking out this laid back beach town and staying with the best hosts at Hidden Paradise Beachfront Resort in Playa Auga Blanca.

This was a real gift for us! After four full days in Mexico City, arrive in the quiet serene Playa Aqua Blanca. We were warmly welcomed by Basia & Slawomir and were given a beautiful spacious room with a sea view. We had really arrived in a paradise! We have been able to enjoy this place for 6 days, which breathes a combination of passion, experience and vision. Many people can probably run a resort, but it's an gift to create a place where people feel at Homs and van t eally connect with wachtgeld. And that's what Basia does with her delicious food and Slawomir with its soothing energy. Every day a party to enjoy it. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to return one day!

We ended our 2-week trip around Oaxaca at the Beachfront Paradise Resort - and we are so glad we did. The overall facility is excellent, attractive design, great units, and the pounding of the surf all night long. The common areas (pool and dining area) extend the range of your accommodations and the honor bar (beer, wine, water, etc., was a great touch.
Breakfast in the mornings was such a treat - delicious, and too generous. It lasted all day till dinner.
Agua Blanca has the ideal sleepy Mexican vibe. There's not disco in site (but Puerto Escondido 30 minutes away supplies all that you need), and the family owned restaurants close with sundown. Occasional surfers and the few Mexican tour buses added just the right amount on transient energy during the day.
While all that aesthetic was wonderful, it was the hosts themselves that boosted the welcoming atmosphere and the sense that we were at home. Leaving felt "no bueno", and we were longing to return the moment our plane touched down in the states.
We kept extending our original stay because we felt like we have found our slice of paradise and were not ready to give it up.

Our Beachfront Club is just steps away from our hotel and is located on the beautiful and practically empty beach. Enjoy our shaded Beach Beds and small tables where you can put your cold drinks from the bar. Beachfront Paradise Hotel provides our guests with beach towels, which are waiting for you in your hotel room.
Next to the Beach Beds you will find the coconut palms garden with wooden chairs, tables and hammocks – everything under a shaded roof structure. Cold drinks such as beer, soda or water are offered from our based on honor system bar. A strong internet signal provided by Starlink satellite covers our Beachfront Club.
